Alpha Paving DFW recently had the incredible opportunity to support a local family and a very special little boy. Remington, who is five years old, is bravely battling brain cancer.
To bring some joy to his days, we partnered with several amazing vendors to build a custom race track in his backyard for Remington and his two siblings to enjoy together. Alpha Paving handled all of the concrete work, along with additional improvements needed in the backyard. Other vendors stepped in to build a carport-style garage for the bikes and complete the striping for the track.
We were also honored to have Texas Motor Speedway get involved by creating the official start/finish line and naming the track Wilburn Speedway.
This project was a true community effort, and we are grateful to everyone who came together to help make this dream a reality for Remington and his family. It was a reminder that what we build can go far beyond pavement—it can create joy, hope, and lasting memories.
