"The chip and seal surface of our driveway was failing, about 3,400sqft. Alpha Paving Industries thoroughly prepared and swept the old surface, applied a tack coat and laid a couple of inches of hot asphalt over the base. They used their paver as much as feasible but some convoluted areas had to be laid or finished by hand. They crowned the pavement adequately to shed runoff water. The asphalt mix was of good quality and arrived hot. The crew used both a rubber-tire and a steel roller to achieve a well-compacted layer and a smooth finish. The work was finished in less than a morning and when the crew left, our property and the street were cleaner than when they arrived.
