Although a formal name has not yet been announced, the 65-acre site containing the amphitheater is currently known as Hutto Park at Brushy Creek in Hutto, TX. The amphitheater has seating for 4,000 guests and lawn seating for an additional 6,000 people. Shade structures cover the stage and the VIP area. The area includes a park bathroom, a pavilion and eight electrical hookups for recreational vehicles. Camping may be allowed at the park in the future, but the city has not decided on the issue.
The amphitheater will host a variety of events, including KOKEFest, a music festival sponsored by radio station KOKE. The station expects to host an additional four to six events annually. Although KOKE has an alternative country format, other sponsors will present events covering different genres of music, including rock.

What Was the Scope of the Work at the Hutto Amphitheater?
It is always a delight to work with Hutto’s civic leaders, and this job was no exception. Our first task was to put down approximately 3,900 tons of asphalt. We completed this task in less than two days. The second part of the job was to stripe the newly paved area. This task took us less than a day. Altogether, it took about two and a half days to install the pavement and striping for more than 1,000 new parking spaces.
Every time we visit Hutto, we are amazed at the city’s growth. Three decades ago, the town had a single stoplight and about 630 residents. The population almost doubled between 1990 and 2000 before exploding to nearly 15,000 people by 2010. Current estimates show that the population stands at nearly 30,000 people.
