Many people assume that Alpha Paving only handles jobs for commercial property owners and managers. Although municipalities, businesses, and counties account for a large percentage of our workload, we occasionally handle residential projects. Sometimes, we resurface a long, winding private road, sealcoat a lengthy driveway, or handle other jobs for homeowners. One of our favorite projects was a residential project for Mr. Dawn A. Tisdale of Austin, Texas.
What Work Did Alpha Perform for Mr. Tisdale?
Mr. Tisdale had two reasons for contacting us. First, he felt that his tennis court was an eyesore that needed to be addressed. We were able to recommend a cost-effective way to give the tennis court a fresh look. Second, he wanted to protect his driveway through sealcoating. We sealed both the tennis court and the driveway, then we re-striped the tennis court. We used a total of approximately 300 gallons of Jennite AE sealcoating. This covered about 5,750 square feet of pavement with two coats that were applied with a sprayer.
How Long Did the Project Take?
We completed the sealcoating in one day. We then returned the following day to re-stripe the tennis court.
