Sun City is a retirement community for active seniors in Georgetown. Residents can play a round at one of the three golf courses, swim a few laps in the resort-style pool, exercise at one of the fitness centers, or enjoy a number of other activities and amenities. What Did the Project at Sun City Involve?
The customer asked us to sealcoat and restripe the parking lot. It was evident that the parking lot had been receiving routine maintenance over the years and was in decent shape, but it was definitely in need of sealcoating.
We recommended Jennite AE, a high-quality sealant with excellent durability and appearance. The area of the parking lot was approximately 83,000 square feet, so we needed 2,200 gallons of sealant to apply two coats. In one mobilization, we completed the sealcoating in about 10 hours. We returned the next day and completed the striping in a few hours.
The customer was very pleased with the work our crew members performed. They also appreciated our ability to schedule the job quickly and complete the work while good weather was available. This was not our first job in Sun City, and we look forward to continuing to serve the community when they need additional pavement-related services.
